Our much‑awaited and beloved sunflower season has officially begun, and the fields are bursting with bright, beautiful blooms. Guests are invited to wander down to the sunflower fields near our Stables restaurant and take in the golden views that only this time of year can offer.
Make a day of it by booking a breakfast or lingering over lunch at Stables after your visit. Or, if you prefer something more laid‑back, stroll over to the Rose Terrace Tea Room for a relaxed bite to eat—no bookings needed, as seating is on a first‑come, first‑served basis.
Before you head home, don’t forget to stop by the Potting Shed Gift Shop next to the Rose Terrace Tea Room and pick up a cheerful bunch of sunflowers. Bunches are R75 for 5 stems, with a portion of every bunch donated to the wonderful PATCH Child Abuse Centre in Somerset West. Sunflower season is weather‑dependent, and we expect the blooms to last until the end of February—so plan your visit soon!
