This Pear Eau de Vie is made from Clapp’s pears harvested on Vergelegen Estate. The orchard is over 30 years old and produces beautiful pears every season. In 2024, we hand harvested a small batch of perfect pears and distilled them into this smooth, clear and refreshing Pear Eau de Vie.
It is delicious served as an aperitif or an excellent addition to a variety of cocktails and makes a thoughtful gift.
Each bottle is presented in a beautiful gift box.

Serve on the rocks or in your favourite cocktail (like a Vergelegen ‘Pearllini’).
We were inspired by Italy in the 1940’s and created this delicious cocktail loosely based on the Bellini.
Rerfreshing ‘Pearllini’ Cocktail:
1 Tot Vergelegen Pear Eau de Vie
3 Tots Pear Juice
100ml Vergelegen Heritage Cap Classique
Fresh pear slices & a sprig of thyme to garnish
Method
Shake the Vergelegen Pear Eau de Vie and pear juice in a cocktail shaker with ice. Strain into a coup glass and top with the Vergelegen Heritage Cap Classique. Garnish with a slice of pear and a sprig of thyme. Enjoy!
