The Rhône Valley, stretching from the Swiss Alps to the Mediterranean, is a region of breathtaking landscapes and rich history. Known for its world-renowned wines, the valley is divided into northern and southern sections, each boasting distinct terroirs and grape varieties. In the north, Syrah reigns supreme, crafting bold, structured reds, while the south is famed for blends featuring Grenache, Mourvèdre, and Syrah, with Châteauneuf-du-Pape standing as a prestigious symbol of the region’s winemaking excellence.
Christo Deyzel, our resident sommelier, will explore the Rhone region in this tasting and will include a fantastic line up of 7 wines showcasing the region’s style and grape varieties. Wines from JL Chave, St. Cosme, Chapoutier and Allain Graillot will be tasted among other producers.
